Tasting notes:
Intense deep colour with cassis,
eucalyptus and attractive oak spice on the nose.
Full-bodied palate with red and black fruit, chocolate,
rum and raisin and a hint of meaty, earthy, developed
flavours is also detected. Long, smooth and sweet
finish.
This is the perfect drink for that perfect moment. Enjoy
it on its own or even with desserts.

Cellar:
Long hanging-time, selected
harvesting, low yield (0.56tons per hectare), hands-on
winemaking and handcrafting of the wines for 40 months
in 2 x 225Litre French Oak barrels is the true secret
behind this gem.
This wine has been made as a tribute to the love for the
vineyard, love for wine, love for the soil and love for
a family member who epitomises all that we are today – a
true gentleman from a bygone era – Hannes van Niekerk –
our father and grandfather.
